If your garage door company serves Marietta, from the Whitlock Avenue historic district to East Cobb's established neighborhoods, your customers' homes with real character deserve a real wood garage door — and your company can offer one without a woodshop. Carriage Door Creations builds custom wood carriage doors to order at our shop at 1800 Macleod Dr Suite G in Lawrenceville, GA, and supplies garage door companies across the Southeast. Custom carriage doors, built for your company. Call 678-926-3404 to set up supply.
Marietta holds two kinds of housing history at once. Near Marietta Square and along Historic Kennesaw Avenue and Whitlock Avenue, your customers own genuine historic homes — the kind of properties where every exterior choice is visible and consequential, with Kennesaw Mountain as the backdrop. Across East Cobb, in Whitlock Heights, Indian Hills, and Chimney Springs, you serve large, well-built homes from the 1970s through the 1990s whose owners are now updating them for the next chapter. A custom wood carriage door speaks to both: authentic material for the historic house, and a transformative upgrade for the established one.
Real Wood for Marietta's Historic Streets
Our wood line is handcrafted from real hardwood overlays — Clear Cedar, White Oak, Mahogany, and Knotty Pine — over a 2" thick foam-insulated steel-back panel. The hardwood face gives your customer true grain, depth, and finish options. The insulated steel-back core gives them a door that is stable, insulated, and built for everyday use — not a decorative panel that happens to move.
In the Whitlock Avenue historic district and around Marietta Square, design review matters. We provide CAD drawings for your customer's review and approval before we build, so they can study window divisions, board direction, arch or square top, and strap hardware against their home's facade — and share that drawing with a builder or designer with confidence that what is drawn is what will arrive. That drawing is a sales tool for your company.
A Defining Upgrade for East Cobb Renovations
In Indian Hills, Chimney Springs, and other East Cobb subdivisions, the renovation pattern your company sees is familiar: kitchen done, primary suite done, exterior paint refreshed — and the original garage doors still facing the street, dating the whole house. Because garages dominate the front of many of these homes, with double and triple openings, replacing them with custom wood carriage doors changes the read of the property more than almost any other single exterior project.
Built-to-order sizing helps here, too. Larger and paired openings, doors for a main garage plus a golf-cart or workshop bay, and designs coordinated across multiple openings are all normal work for our shop. If a lower-maintenance door makes more sense for a secondary opening, your company can coordinate the design with our single overlay carriage doors so the property still reads as one composition.
How It Works for Dealers
Start with a dealer consult by phone. You measure the opening, sell the job, and spec it — no catalog substitution, no warehouse door relabeled as custom. We design with you, draw it in CAD for your customer's approval, and build it in our Lawrenceville shop. Pick up at our Lawrenceville shop, or we can ship via freight. Your crews install it, so the finished door is hung as carefully as it was made, by the company your customer hired.
Why Choose Carriage Door Creations
Carriage doors are our sole focus, and real wood is where that focus shows most. For a garage door company selling into Marietta, we provide a custom wood line without a woodshop of your own: hardwood chosen for your customer's house, CAD-backed selling with a drawing they approve before the build, insulated construction made for daily use, and a manufacturer in Lawrenceville supplying dealers across the Southeast.
