If your garage door company serves Peachtree Corners, you can spot the renovation wave house by house — new roofs, new landscaping, fresh paint, and on many of them, one original garage door still giving away the home's age. Carriage Door Creations builds single overlay carriage doors to order in our Lawrenceville shop and supplies garage door companies across the Southeast. Custom carriage doors, built for your company. Call 678-926-3404 to set up supply.
Peachtree Corners is a city of 1970s–1990s subdivisions with mature trees, set between the Chattahoochee riverfront and the offices of Technology Park, with The Forum and the Town Center along Peachtree Pkwy (GA-141) as its gathering places. The homes are well built and well located, which is why your customers are renovating rather than moving — and why the garage door, often the largest single surface on the front of the house, is getting attention it never got when these neighborhoods were new. Walk any street in Amberfield or Wellington Park and your customers see it too.
The Practical Upgrade for a Renovation-Wave Home
A single overlay door replaces a plain raised-panel door with applied carriage detailing — frames, crossbucks, Z-braces, or board-and-batten faces — over an insulated panel. For your customer's Peachtree Corners renovation, that checks several boxes at once — points your company can sell on:
It changes the elevation, not just the door. Carriage detail gives a brick traditional or transitional home architectural depth it has always lacked, and a window row across the top section brings daylight into a garage that was built dark.
It is drawn for their house. The overlay layout is designed around your customer's style and opening, and we provide CAD drawings for their approval before the build. A door for a formal front on Peachtree Corners Circle and a door for a wooded riverfront lot off Holcomb Bridge Rd should not — and here, do not — come out looking the same.
It fits the way these owners live. Many Peachtree Corners garages sit under living space or double as workshops, gyms, and storage for river gear. The insulated construction at the core of the door helps that space stay usable year-round.
Two Builds for Two Kinds of Budgets
Our signature build is ½" Extira® overlay detailing over a 2" foam-insulated steel-back panel. Extira® is moisture-resistant and no-rot — a real consideration on Peachtree Corners' shaded, heavily treed lots, where damp and leaf litter work on ordinary trim year after year — and the face stays low maintenance.
We also offer a vinyl-back option finished in LP® SmartSide, in a smooth or wood-grain finish, at a more accessible price point. For a customer sequencing a whole-house renovation — or for your company updating several homes in the same subdivision — that option puts genuine carriage character within reach without making the garage door the most expensive line in the project.
Both builds are made to order. And if your customer's renovation calls for genuine hardwood instead, our custom wood carriage doors are handcrafted in the same Lawrenceville shop on the same insulated steel-back construction — a second line your company can offer from one supplier.
From Our Shop to Your Crew
You consult with us by phone, measure the opening, and spec the job; we draw the design for your customer's approval, then build the door in Lawrenceville.
Why Choose Carriage Door Creations
We manufacture carriage doors at our own shop — 1800 Macleod Dr Suite G in Lawrenceville — supplying dealers across the Southeast, rather than reselling a catalog product. That means the doors you sell are designed for your customer's specific house, reviewed on a CAD drawing, built on insulated construction with a low-maintenance, no-rot overlay face. For a garage door company, it is a custom single overlay line without a woodshop of your own, with CAD-backed selling on every order.
Garage door companies serving Peachtree Corners: add a single overlay carriage line to what you sell. Call 678-926-3404 to talk supply and ordering.
